2018 was an interesting and stressful year for the nation. But for the Scherzinger family it was one filled with change.
Bratislava, Slovakia. Our first stop along the river after leaving Budapest.

Melk, Austria. A proud country rich in attitude, even in this little town. Great bier!
Nuremberg, Germany. A place to which both Eileen and Bruce said, "I could live here" and the last stop on our trip.

Passau, Germany. A truly beautiful, working town with a rich history.
Regensburg, Germany. Had to take a bus here, but it was worth it.

Vienna, Austria. One of the world's most historic cities and former home of some of the greatest classicial music composers of all time. Too bad it rained all day during our visit here, which limited the ability to take photos. We also saw most of the city by bus, which did not offer good photo opportunities at all.
Vilshofen, Germany. This was an unscheduled stop on the river, necessitated by low water. A quaint little town with very little to see. But AmaWaterways did a great job improvising this stop as our disembarkation point. From here we'd have to bus to both Regensburg and Nuremberg.

Eileen travels a lot for business. This year she had business in Minneapolis, where her cousin, Mona Dewayne, and her husband, Patrick, live. Minneapolis is one of those places that has two seasons: Winter and August. It's absolutely beautiful and pleasant there in August, and we took it ALLLL in. We immensely enjoyed our visit with Mona and Patrick and hoped to visit them again in the near future.
Bruce and Eileen traveled by train to NYC for a Goldstein/Lieberman family reunion.
