Bruce headed back to work after a 2-week case of COVID-19. Eileen is still traveling heavily, but expects it to ease-off until January.

Bruce began having neck arthritis issues (again) and started going to chiropractic again.
Bruce came down with a mild case of COVID-19 for a couple weeks. No big deal, but it lingered and he had to stay home from work without being able to work from home. Eileen was traveling most of the time and did not catch it. While he was home unable to do his job, he migrated this website and two others to the latest version of Joomla (4).
Bruce filed for Social Security and discovered there was no way to do so without enrolling in Medicare, which he promptly filed to cancel until he retires...which may be never.

Bruce and Eileen traveled to Napa, CA, to galavant around in wine country...and to visit David and Brie. 😁 They actually left at the very end of August.

Bruce resumed his annual trips to Indiana. No stopover in Ohio this time since his Dad passed away in Feb 2021. It's great going back home annually. He still has a lot of friends in Connersville, and he also visited the Schumanns and Carol Westphal in Fort Wayne.

Eileen's job is back in heavy travel mode. She's gone most of the time and expects this to continue through the end of this year. She was able to hire help, but has had no time to mentor them due to all the travel. She's getting extremely frustrated.

Bruce started working on another program, sort of in parallel to his main one when another software engineer left the company and his lead position on that program. Bruce was qualified and cleared to walk right in and keep things moving. Of course, his main program took a pretty major hit. Spoiler: It was supposed to be a 2-month gig, but it actually lasted 7 months.
