Taos was a bit disapointing to Bruce after all the hype he heard about it. It's a dumpy, small town with little to offer unless you want to ski. Santa Fe, on the other hand, is a culture-rich town surrounded by beautiful hillsides and filled with historic buildings and sites, not to mention artists. A LOT of artists live in that area. It's a bit pricey for a retirement location, but it would be cool to live near it.
