Small town parades are funny. You can tell they struggle to get whatever and whomever they can to participate. This year we had colonial settlers, the school board chairman, a high school band, ballet dancers, moms pushing strollers, hot rod cars, giant ballons (like the ones in the Macy's parade, but ready to be condemned), and of course Santa Claus. The best parts were the hot rod cars and the South Lakes High School Seahawks Marching Band. That's Andrew holding one end of the banner instead of one end of a pair of drumsticks.
