Resume of Eileen Scherzinger

Eileen's formal education is in Elementary and Special Education. But after she met Bruce, she couldn’t find any decent teaching positions (she moved from NY to IN during the early Reagan administration). As a result, she resorted to her past experience in retail, where she did quite well. Then, when the Scherzingers moved to Northern Virginia, Eileen decided to open a family day care business. Her formal education turned out to be a big advantage after Rachel's heart surgery. Her knowledge of how to "use the system" and her perseverence has been of tremendous benefit to Rachel and the rest of the family.
